Talos T60X Fly Ready Kit — Built to Work, Not to Figure Out
The Talos T60X Fly Ready Kit is the entry point for operators who want to be in the field fast, without sourcing components individually. The aircraft, the controller, the charger, the batteries, and the adapter infrastructure to tie it together — it’s all here. Show up, set up, and fly.
The T60X is a high-output agricultural drone built around a straightforward proposition: cover more ground per hour than smaller platforms, without crossing into the regulatory complexity that comes with heavier aircraft. With a 50-liter spray tank — upgradeable to 60 liters — a flow rate of 4.8 gallons per minute standard and 7.4 gallons per minute with four nozzles, and a 36-foot maximum swath width, it delivers genuine commercial-scale output. At 2 GPA, real-world spraying efficiency runs 56–60 acres per hour, with peak performance reaching 70 acres per hour under optimal conditions.
Spraying The T60X runs a magnetic drive impeller pump that fully isolates chemical from the motor — more corrosion resistance, longer service life, and easier disassembly for cleaning. Droplet size is adjustable from 20 to 320 microns, giving operators control over penetration and drift depending on the product and conditions. The standard two-nozzle setup covers most field applications; the four-nozzle upgrade handles higher flow demands and dense canopy work.
Spreading The optional spreading system runs an 80-liter hopper with 132-pound payload capacity and a maximum output of 418 pounds per minute. Three auger sizes support fertilizer, seed, and specialty granular materials. A real-time weighing system monitors remaining payload and spread quantity during the flight, so operators know exactly what went down.
Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance A tri-camera design combines with an active phased array radar that detects obstacles up to 196 feet out — including telephone poles, trees, and diagonal cables. A fisheye FPV camera with stabilization provides full-color low-light visibility for early morning and late evening operations, and a 75-watt lighting system extends obstacle detection to 82 feet in the dark. GNSS and RTK dual-redundancy positioning delivers centimeter-level accuracy. One-click takeoff, terrain following, single-sided spraying, and seamless multi-field transitions are all handled autonomously.
The Kit Three DB2100 flight batteries keep rotations moving throughout the day. The C10000 intelligent charger runs at 10,000 watts for fast turnaround between flights — the DB2100 adapter cable bridges the connection between the T60X battery and the C10000. The 65-watt portable charger handles the remote controller and WB37 intelligent batteries on the go, so the controller is never dead when the aircraft is ready to fly. Dual WB37 batteries and a WB37 charging hub mean one remote battery is always charging while the other is in use. No delays waiting on a controller charge in the middle of a spray day.
The T60X Fly Ready Kit is designed for operators entering the commercial drone application market or expanding an existing operation — everything needed to start covering acres from day one.

Use Cases
- Large-Acre Row Crop Spraying — Herbicide, fungicide, and foliar applications across corn, soybeans, and small grains. The 36-foot swath and adjustable flow rate cover ground efficiently while keeping application rates consistent.
- Commercial Application Services — For custom applicators running a per-acre spray business, the T60X’s coverage rate and straightforward operation keep cost per acre competitive. Three batteries with a 10,000-watt charger support continuous rotation through a full work day.
- Broadcast Fertilizer & Nutrient Spreading — The optional 80-liter spreading system at 418 lbs/min is viable for commercial fertilizer runs where ground equipment creates compaction risk or terrain limits access.
- Cover Crop Aerial Seeding — Seeding into standing cash crops before harvest where timing is critical and ground equipment can’t get in without damaging the crop.
- Orchard & Dense Canopy Applications — The four-nozzle upgrade combined with the aircraft’s downwash pushes product through canopy and onto leaf undersides — relevant for tree fruit, hops, and similar specialty crops.
- Low-Light & Early Morning Operations — The full-color low-light camera and 75-watt onboard lighting system make pre-dawn and post-dusk spraying viable when wind conditions are better and field temperatures are lower.
- Operators New to Commercial Drone Spraying — The T60X sits below the weight threshold that triggers additional FAA approval complexity, making it a practical starting platform for new applicators building toward higher-volume operations.
- Pesticide & Herbicide Spraying — 30 L/min flow rate with 26 ha/h spraying efficiency in open fields Frontierprecision. Positioned for operations that want to reduce water usage and chemical drift vs. traditional ground rigs.
- Seeding (Cover Crops, Small Grains) — compatible with three auger types supporting fertilizing, seeding, feeding, and powder spreading Pegasusrobotics. Relevant for cover crop seeding into standing corn/beans — a growing practice in the Midwest.
- Orchard & Dense Canopy Spraying — quad-rotor downdraft ensures coverage on both sides of leaves, and with four centrifugal nozzles it handles the toughest canopy scenarios Xa. Differentiates it from DJI Agras in specialty crop markets.
- Field Scouting & Mapping — the RealTerra system captures HD images during autonomous flight, auto-stitches them into field maps on landing Xa. Sells as a two-in-one: spray run + prescription map in the same flight.
- Variable Rate Application — prescription map support enables variable-rate application on demand Frontierprecision. Use case for growers already using soil sampling data or yield maps who want to close the loop agronomically.
- Steep Terrain / Inaccessible Areas — RevoTransport system handles long distances and steep terrains with sling and cargo modes HSE-UAV, relevant for hilly ground or wetland edges where ground equipment can’t operate safely.
